We plugged this in and it seems to go fine. The button starts the red hand counting down to zero and then it returns to original position. The larger arm moves but not past 15 and I don't want to use force.The toggle switch turns on and off the power to the 1 outlet on the side. The back plate reads "Industrial timer corporation Newark, N.J.
