It comes with a 1A red filter. I used this filter as an overhead overall safe light in my darkroom. This safe light is really vintage and old. The safe light is fair condition and the filter is in good condition for it's age. The filter normally sells for $100.00 all by its self. The hinge on the framed door works fine, but always seemed extra tight to me so I used tape to hold the door closed rather than latch it for fear of snapping the glass filter. This is a real rare gem, it's look like it's in rough shape but with a little cleaning and work (oil on hinges and latch etc.) this could be near 100%. A rare old hard to find darkroom gem! Measurements are 10 1/2" x 12 1/2".
