The remote functions include white balance, gain, iris, pedestal, subcarrier and other critical video parameters. It will also control the audio level of the intercom system. Features • Cable Length Compensation The WV-RC700A has cable length compensation and fine control features. Camera control, genlock, and video signals can be transferred using BNC type coaxial cable up to 700 feet. When using 26-pin CCU type cable, remote camera control can be extended up to 1000 feet. • Separate Control Panel The user can remove the control panel, the WV-CB700A (which is sold without the main RC700A if desired) and control the Panasonic convertible cameras video parameters with just a 10-pin to 50-pin cable, the AW-CA50T10, 50 meters in length. • Component Video Input and Output For broadcast applications, nothing transfers the original quality a well as component video (unless you have a SDI available). The WV-RC700A takes component video via its 26-pin connection and outputs it with 3 BNC connections. Additionally, the RCU accepts S-video and composite BNC connections also.
