All in easily excellent +++ condition. Its output is 960 joules or 960 Broncolor watt/sec. An astute ebayer just informed me it is actually 960ws not tot 1500 as I previously stated. If your unfamiliar with Broncolor strobe power ratings I can assure you they are conservative. This isn’t marketing hype is just fact. I’m not particularly partial to broncolor, in fact I personally use strobes from 2 other manufactures as well but some things Bron does particularly well. This compuls unit I used exclusively with the focusing spot for throwing small controlled highlights, with screaming output and no color fringing, clean clean power. Small f-stops with a big camera and one hit. This unit will project a clean sharp or defocused spot at a comfortable distance. There is no color fringing with this unit, I have used spots by Elinchrom and Balcar that do color fringe and are of little use if you want clean color. This unit also comes with an assortment of circular masks for various spot sizes. As this spot also focuses, you can throw a razor sharp spot or a beautifully defocused area of light that can feather perfectly into your image. This focusing spot will attach to any broncolor pulso head. As the Compuls unit is digitally controlled it can be programmed To automatically multipop! This unit is nice, working perfectly. The Compuls flashtube looks kinda new, and the P70 reflector rounds out the outfit nicely. This outfit is fairly heavy so shipping and ins is $50.00 in the lower 48 states. I will accept a return on this outfit only if my description is inaccurate and I am notified of this within 24 hours of receipt of the unit.
